The Micro-Reserve of Bupleurum kakiskalae is located on the locality Kakiskala, Linoseli, Lefka Ori Mts (NATURA 2000, GR 4340008) and encompasses the entire population of the species. The total surface of the micro-reserve is 1 ha and occurs at an altitude of 1450 m. The micro-reserve is comprised by a vertical calcareous cliff with chasmophytic vegetation as well as slopes with screes and sparse vegetation.
