The Micro-Reserve of Hypericum aciferum is located on Fournoti beach, eastwards of Sougia (NATURA 2000, GR 4340008) and includes the eastern part of the single population of the species. The total surface of the micro-reserve is 6.5 ha and occurs at an altitude of 0-100 m. The micro-reserve encompasses a gorge ending with steep calcareous slopes, pine forest and a sandy beach.
